Everywhere you look, from cars to guitars, there’s a canvas ready to be elevated with a new design. With my background as a beginner tattoo artist and a recent discovery of engraving, I merge both worlds to create new methods of application. Using tattoo stencil gel I apply a stencil to any surface, similar to the technique used when tattooing clients. An adhesive bandage is wrapped around the engraving pen for a cozy grip, and nitrile gloves are worn to ‘protect’ the hands, or simply because the feeling is reminiscent of tattooing.
